What makes Cypress pools different?
Two things: water and trees. Cypress’s master-planned lake
communities put a lot of pools near open water, which blows in extra pollen, organic
debris, and phosphates — algae food — especially in spring. The older,
tree-canopied neighborhoods drop heavy leaf litter that overloads baskets and filters and
shades the water enough for algae to take hold. Our weekly routine is built for both:
baskets emptied and checked every visit, filters kept clean so debris-heavy pools
stay clear, and a close eye on phosphate and chlorine levels where lake-adjacent algae
pressure runs high.
